Ingress: The Animation

Ingress: The Animation is a Japanese anime series based on the Ingress game, co-existing in the same fictional universe. The series was produced by Craftar and aired in Japan on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block began from October 18, 2018 to December 27, 2018. The worldwide dub version premiered on Netflix on April 30, 2019.

Story

The series exists in the Ingress universe.

The story follows Makoto Midorikawa, a special police investigator who has the power to read the memories of objects he touches. While investigating a laboratory explosion that was researching an unknown substance called Exotic Matter, he touches the ring of Sarah Coppola, a woman who was the sole survivor of the explosion and sees a horrifying vision that embroils him in a massive conspiracy.
