Appears as the owner of Portals (and their Resonators and Portal Mods) that have been flipped with the JARVIS Virus 
by a Resistance 
Agent.
__MACHINA__[]
Appears as the owner of Portals (and their Resonators and Portal Mods) that are under Machina 
control. This is the only account in existence with a Faction other than Resistance and Enlightened . As the owner of Portals or Resonators , on its profile page or when mentioned in COMMs the account name is obscured/"glitched" and shows as ̶̱̍_̴̳͉̆̈́M̷͔̤͒Ą̷̍C̴̼̕ͅH̶̹͕̼̾Ḭ̵̇̾̓N̵̺͕͒̀̍Ä̴̞̰́_̴̦̀͆̓_̷̣̈́ .

When Niantic needs to intervene with the Scanner (for example when restoring Portals that were taken down by a terminated spoofer account) they use a special account named NIASection14, which can appear as either Resistance or Enlightened .[1]
