The Turret is a Portal Mod that increases the defence of your Portal by affecting its counterattack rate and hit bonus. Turrets only come with the rarity level Rare. They have a stickiness level of 20%.

The Turret modifies Counterattack. Specifically, it gives two stats increases, called Strike Factor and Hit Bonus.[1]
- "Hit Bonus" seems to add the critical hit chance from the portal. A 30% increase means the critical hit chance of 10% is increased to 13%.
- "Strike Factor" used to be called "Attack Frequency". Old testing indicates that it basically works as a multiplier on the Counterattack damage.
The increase of the Portal's attack rate depends on the amount of Turrets deployed, with diminishing returns:

Turrets are fairly resistant to removal; the stickiness value is 200,000, which is higher than the Rare Portal Shield.[2]
